Sustainable Spaces began as a response to the founder's experience working with homeowners who were making improvement decisions based on an incomplete picture of their homes.

In the past, homeowners have been on their own to navigate the complicated and often contradictory world of energy efficiency and home health improvement. Dealing with specialty contractors eager to sell their specific product, many homeowners found that results simply did not live up to promises and expectations.

Sustainable Spaces has developed a holistic approach to home performance contracting that treats the home as a system.
